This is Matchmaster on my face in daylight. It’s perfect for me as it does everything I want it to for my wedding day, controls oil, looks flawless and has great staying power!
I was dubious about the shade but it really does adapt to your own skin tone, it is really light and airy on the skin and doesn’t feel like your wearing a mask. I don’t find it so, to me it smells kinda like stage make up, which isn’t unpleasant to me. There is a slight smell to the foundation which some people have described as ‘chemical’ like.
Now this foundation is SPF 15 however I have tested my face with flash after applying and there is no white cast. I find that two-three pumps dispenses more than enough coverage for neck and face. The packaging is usual MAC style, sleek with a lockable pump action. I’ve been going at least 6 hours without having to touch up and we are having some pretty hot weather here at the moment! With my BB cream I would be touching up with powder every 2 hours…now reading that I don’t know why I’ve been doing that for so long! MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15 Shade Intelligence Technology : Every individual has a unique shade of skin tone the best thing is with the range of customized foundations introduced in MAC you will definitely be able to spot out the right foundation for your skin tone as they have shades ranging from 1 to 10 based on your skin tones. I’ve been applying over primer and using the MAC Blot Powder to set it with. I’ve mainly been wearing BB cream recently so it’s been nice to switch it up with some foundation! I am really impressed with the Matchmaster foundation. Basically I wanted a base that would be able to stand up to the combined efforts of hot weather and my oily skin! She suggested the Matchmaster as it has a medium build-able coverage and works well with oily skin. When I went to purchase the foundation I wanted to wear on my wedding day my words to the MAC mua were “natural but with more coverage than I’d usually wear”.
